My name is Claire. I am a mum to a teenage daughter a qualified kids yoga teacher, and I was a primary school teacher for over 20 years!

 

Zen Club was born from a deep understanding of the pressures young people face today. I saw firsthand the stress, anxiety, and emotional struggles children were carrying, often without the tools to manage them.

 

I wanted to create a space where they could pause, breathe, and reconnect with themselves—a place where they could learn strategies to handle big emotions while feeling supported and understood.

 

Through yoga, mindfulness, and open conversations, Zen Club empowers kids to build resilience, confidence, and inner calm, helping them navigate life's challenges with greater ease.

 

My story

My own journey through cancer deepened my understanding of the profound connection between the mind and body. I came to realize that emotions and trauma, when left unprocessed, can manifest physically, sometimes leading to illness.

The mind is incredibly powerful—our thoughts and beliefs shape everything, influencing not only our emotions but also our physical health. Through this experience, I learned that healing is not just about the body but also about the energy we cultivate within ourselves.

Zen Club teaches kids how to harness their own energy, guiding them to use their minds to foster well-being, build resilience, and create a positive, balanced inner world. By equipping them with these tools early on, they gain the confidence to navigate life with strength and self-awareness.
